Under IRS Guidelines, some health products are eligible for reimbursement through an FSA/HRA or a tax-free distribution from an HSA, if medically necessary. If your patient has been diagnosed with Gingivitis or Periodontitis, they could be eligible for reimbursement. Here is a form for them to fill out and give to their FSA/HRA administrator.
