Billing & Statements

Every week statements are reviewed and are sent to patients with no open insurance claims and a balance remaining on their account. We can send statements via email, text or paper. Typically statements are sent via email or text unless a patient specifically asks for a paper statement to be mailed.

Who is in charge of billing?

The office manager of each location manages the billing for their office.

When does the patient receive their first statement?

The day all insurance claims are closed on the family account.

Do we send patients to collections?

Yes, if a patients make no payments or attempts to contact the office to make arrangements for their balance. This happens approx. 90 days after the first statement is sent.

Can patients pay their bill online?

Yes! With our Moolah software, patients can make payments online with their personal credit card or HSA/FSA credit card.
