1. Double-click the pre-determination you need to update.

2. Click “By Procedure”

3. Enter the fee that the insurance is going to pay for each line item

4. Enter the fee that the insurance is going to pay for each line item

5. Enter the fee that the insurance is going to pay for each line item

6. Click “Save”

7. Click “Save”

8. Highlight the services you just updated in the “Active Tx Plan” to create a new tx plan with the pre-determination information saved. Click “Save TP”

9. Name the new tx plan and include “with pre-det” in the title. Then click “OK”

10. Call the patient to review pre-determination – answer any of their questions – schedule the appointment. If the patient doesn’t schedule – add to 2-2-2 follow up tracker.

11. Scan pre-determination into images under “Insurance Predeterminations” folder
